Peek Kids, a premium children’s clothing designer and retailer is growing and we're hiring a Web Analyst to join our small, yet very productive ecommerce team. We are an enthusiastic and positive bunch, we love what we do and we think – we know – we have an amazing product worth sharing. We’re seeking a talented analyst who can help support the strategic direction of our online business through rigorous analysis and insight. Passionate about analysis and technology, he/she is a data junky that is always seeking innovative ways to improve web strategies and performance.

Using web metrics, the ecommerce analyst will play a critical role in drawing informed conclusions and making recommendations that optimize our web channels and support revenue-generating growth of our online business. Our web analyst will work independently, extracting information from our applications and systems, manipulating data in spreadsheets, researching and identifying trends and anomalies, and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders. This role requires knowledge in web analytics (strategy, requirements, implementation, validation, reporting) especially Google Analytics.

Essential Functions:

  • Extract and leverage data from web analytics platforms and internal business intelligence tools to assess and analyze website performance, identifying areas of optimizations and enhancements.
  • Possess the ability to think outside the box and be able to recommend solutions and ideas to management based on analytical findings.
  • Consistently evaluate and determine the most effective ecommerce KPIs with a focus on actionable insights. Create and maintain KPI dashboards to assist goal tracking in: website, search marketing (SEO, PPC, display, etc.), email marketing, social media, other online channels and campaigns.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for site optimization based on key insights and trends.
  • Produce, maintain and distribute scheduled and ad hoc reports to key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new tracking and reporting metrics specific to business needs.
  • Perform data quality audits, identify issues and gaps, and recommend fixes.
  • Assist in executing and measuring tests.
  • Explore and identify new analytical tools and data sources to increase the breadth of our insights.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • B.A./B.S. degree
  • 3+ years work experience in ecommerce, marketing, and/or site analytics
  • Retail or retail financial reporting experience is a plus
  • Proficient user in various web analytic tools
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop successful action plans Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to a wide range of audiences
  • Ability to multi-task to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality campaign launch
  • Pro-active self-starter and independent thinker with ability to be creative, flexible, organized and detail-oriented to balance project schedules and fast-paced deadlines
