Peek Kids is looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and supervise a team of 22 and growing at our warehouse in Tracy. We are looking for someone with great analytical and technical skills who will partner closely with the corporate office to ensure that strategic initiatives are being implemented and goals and objectives are successfully achieved.

  • Daily communication with the team to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly objectives related to all inventory needs are met.
  • Oversee, manage and troubleshoot IT technical issues with warehouse software and systems.
  • Oversee the following activities: receive, count, stock, organize and report on merchandise from manufacturers.
  • Responsible for managing incoming inventory, store returns, transfers, damages from both store and manufacturers
  • Manage inventory adjustments.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations.
  • Responsible for managing outgoing inventory; sending allocations to stores, outside buyers, damaged inventory from stores and manufacturers.
  • Manage donation items disbursements, BOL and tracking arrangements.
  • Ensure Peek warehouse is fully functioning through preventative maintenance.
  • Manage human resource objectives such as recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
  • Schedule and direct work for warehouse staff per corporate office and warehouse needs.

  • Bachelors’ degree or related field or related work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years of management experience required.
  • Advanced computer skills strongly desired with experience leading or participating in software implementations/upgrades and trouble shooting and resolving system errors.
  • PC and Mac proficient strongly desired. Demonstrated competence with MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and verbal, with outstanding customer service skills.
  • The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, remain flexible and direct the team in an ever-changing warehouse environment.
  • Experience with managing budgets and ability to create and maintain various management reports.
  • Ability to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, positive team player, extremely goal-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize projects within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA guidelines safety procedures.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a huge plus
